On Wednesday, 10 December, the world marked Human Rights Day and ended this year’s #16daysofactivism .
A few weeks earlier, the EU Round House was lit orange to raise awareness about violence against women and children, together with partners in Ghana and around the world.
Working with Team Europe, the Youth Sounding Board Ghana, and partners including mogcsp_ghana, csaghana, and oxfaminghana, EU Ambassador rskinnebacheu hosted the first #OrangeTerraceTalks.
Ambassador Rune Skinnebach welcomed guests for a panel discussion on how to respond to gender-based violence both online and offline.
Speakers shared ideas on how government, civil society, and individuals can work together to #EndGBV.
By standing together, our voices and actions can help stop violence against women and girls and create a safer, more equal future for everyone.
